Immediate Opening for Town Clerk

The Town of Frenchville has an immediate opening for a full-time Town Clerk. Town Clerk will serve as the tax collector, accounts payable/payroll clerk and registrar of voters along with bookkeeper. Responsibilities also include but are not limited to all motor vehicle registrations; overseeing State/Town elections and issuing various Town permits and licenses. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, the ability to multi task and excellent customer service skills. Prior experience in a municipal office setting and familiarity with municipal TRIO software is a plus but individuals with other related office or accounting experience are encouraged to apply. This position is performed in accordance with Town Ordinances /State of Maine and Federal Laws with a high degree of independence and direct supervision from the Town Manager.
