Tri-District Alternative Schooling Learning Facilitator
Job Summary: Maine School Administrative District 27, Maine School Administrative District 33, and the Madawaska School Department are seeking a collaborative, innovative, and dynamic educator to join the St. John Valley Technology Center faculty as an Alternative Schooling Learning Facilitator. The ideal candidate must: support efforts towards proficiency-based learning; advance student-centered learning; have knowledge of Marzano's Art and Science of Teaching; coordinate a range of blended learning (mix of on-line and off-line) instructional programming; advance learner agency through a collaborative educational planning model rooted in learner needs, interests, and goals; and manage a multi-discipline, mixed-ability-level learning environment.
Certification requirements: A valid Maine teaching certification and CHRC are required Multiple Certifications (or the willingness to pursue multiple certifications) are preferred.
Start Date: 2017 - 2018 School year
