Division: Children's Day Habilitation Program, Aroostook County
Type: Part Time
Essential Duties:
Children's Day Hab Trainers work one-on-one with children who are developmentally disabled. The focus of
the program is to teach self-care and other skills that children need, such as: - Interpersonal skills - being able to appropriately engage with peers and others in the home and
community setting - Self and environmental awareness - teaching boundaries and safety - Coping with frustration and problem-solving skills - Functional living skills like proper hygiene, organization, following directions, picking up
belongings, etc.
Job Specifications: - Minimum age requirement of 18 - High school diploma or equivalent - Valid driver's license, good driving record - Ability to read, write, and speak English - Training provided
Earned time to all employees which can be used after 90 days of employment
Mileage reimbursement
